Our Story

We are Will & Vikki (& Percy & Cookie!) and we are the Woodlanders. We are experienced woods folk with a passion for sustainable woodland management and the use of locally sourced materials.

Together we have a strong background in woodland management, timber framing, Permaculture, ethnobotany, garden design, furniture making & traditional carpentry. We both trained and worked with Woodsman Ben Law and some of the builds featured were built in partnership with Ben.

We are based in the heart of beautiful Snowdonia, North Wales we use long standing traditional methods to manage woodlands in a sustainable and environmentally sensitive way.

As well as day to day management we also provide a number of services and products that utilise every part of the woodland. Our belief is that we are the custodians of woodlands and therefore need to manage them ecologically for the future. As part of that custodianship we aim to eventually provide a wide range of woodland courses to share our knowledge & skills.
